Indy
Tool for freelancers: quotes, invoices, time tracking, clients, and help with accounting and returns.
A register of income and expenses that imports a bank CSV and exports statements is doable in a few days. What makes Indy is something else: the automatic bank connection, the updating of tax and social rules, the preparation of returns, the relationship with the accountant. A mistake in a return is costly, and the law changes. A home-made tool is a logbook, not an accountant.
What you lose
- Automatic bank connection and reconciliation.
- Updates to tax and accounting rules.
- Preparing and tracking tax and social returns.
- Shared work with your accountant.
- Security and disaster recovery verified by audits.
