Sending a satisfaction survey after the stay and collecting the answers is simple. Harder: continuously pulling the reviews published on travel sites, which depend on the access each one grants, and comparing them with your competitors'. For a single property, an in-house survey and manual review tracking are enough; the tool mostly makes sense for a group comparing its hotels.

The prompt to build it yourself
Build a small tool to collect my guests' feedback after their stay and track their comments, replacing a review management platform. Context: an independent hotel; I send a link by email the day after departure. To do: - A short web form: overall score out of 10, 4 criteria (welcome, cleanliness, room, breakfast), a free comment, detected language. - An automatic send of the link the day after departure from a CSV export of my departures, with an unsubscribe option. - A dashboard: 30-day rolling average, trend per criterion, comments sorted from lowest to highest score. - An email alert for any score below 6. - A CSV export of the answers. Out of scope: pulling reviews published on other sites, competitor benchmarking, automatic AI replies. Stack: Python (Flask), SQLite. No made-up score or review: only real answers are shown.
