SurveyMonkey
Online survey tool with templates and response analysis. The free plan is limited to 10 questions per survey; the Standard monthly plan costs €39 a month for 1,000 responses, with €0.10 for each additional response.
A short survey (a few questions, results in a table or a chart) is quick to build with an assistant and costs nothing to host. For occasional use, a free form tool such as Tally already goes further than SurveyMonkey's free plan. What you lose: the survey templates, advanced analysis (cross-tabulation, filters), and paid respondent panels. For a customer survey or event feedback, building your own is plenty.
What you lose
- Ready-made survey templates
- Advanced analysis such as cross-tabulation and filters
- Paid respondent panels
- Export and integrations ready to use

The prompt to build it yourself
Build a simple survey app to replace SurveyMonkey for my customer surveys. Do not copy SurveyMonkey: only what I need. I will give you the questions. To do: - A Next.js page with the form (text, single choice, multiple choice, rating), mobile-friendly. - Answers stored in Supabase, one table, no personal data unless I ask for it; a clear notice if I do. - A private results page protected by login: counts per answer, a chart per question, a CSV export. - Protection against spam (honeypot and rate limit). - Deployment on a free host, secrets in environment variables. Out of scope: respondent panels, cross-tabulation, templates. README: creating a survey, reading results, deployment, and what I must say to respondents about their data (GDPR).
