The prompt to build it yourself
Build me a digital receipt with loyalty and review collection, for my venue, to replace a subscription. Stack: web app (Next.js or Node/Express) with SQLite, hosted on my small server, usable on phone and computer. No mandatory paid service, no telemetry. Core of the tool: - Digital receipt sent by email or accessible by QR code after payment, with the bill's detail. - Simple loyalty programme: one point per euro or one stamp per visit, configurable reward. - Invitation to leave a Google review, sent to all customers who consented. Requirements: - GDPR: explicit consent at collection (unticked box, clear wording), unsubscribe link in every message, export and deletion of a customer on request, configurable retention period. - Honest reviews: every customer receives the same invitation, with no prior sorting by satisfaction, and no reward is tied to a positive review. The review platforms' rules apply. - Emails sent through a configurable SMTP server, with rate limiting; no scraping of the review platforms. - Simple dashboard: invitations sent, clicks, evolution over time. Out of scope: integration with the till (the bill is entered or imported as CSV); this digital receipt does not replace the certified till's receipt. README: installation, SMTP configuration, GDPR reminder (purposes, legal basis, retention) and a reminder that links to the review platforms are entered by hand.
