QloApps
Free and open-source hotel management system built on PrestaShop (OSL-3.0 licence, public code on GitHub): accommodation management, booking engine, hotel website creation, channel manager to synchronise rates and availability with online agencies, mobile app, marketplace, restaurant management, till, front desk interface and revenue management. PayPal payment through a module; several paid modules sold on the Webkul shop (housekeeping, SEO, virtual tour, packages, notifications, GDPR, loyalty, online check-in), prices not given. Cloud hosting and paid support, training and audit services. Page in English only.
The project proves that a booking engine, a room calendar and a hotel website fit in free software, and its code is a good model for a small property. Using it as is is often more reasonable than starting from scratch: the licence is free and the base is maintained. What remains your job: hosting, security updates, the paid modules you need (housekeeping, online check-in) and the connections to online agencies, which require agreements.

Existing alternatives to QloApps
No free or open-source alternative currently meets our checks (active project under a free licence, free plan read on the vendor’s own site). Rather than invent one, the list stays empty.
What a home-built tool costs once it exists
- Hosting and database: a server cost, and automatic backups you actually test.
- Security and GDPR: dependency updates, an HTTPS certificate, protection of your customers’ data.
- Upkeep time: who fixes the tool on a Saturday night in the middle of service if the server goes down?
