Epos Now
British vendor of tills and management software for restaurants, cafés and shops: hardware, stock management and integrated payments. Prices differ by country and are not detailed on the home page (third-party comparison sites quote about £58 per month per licence in the United Kingdom, a figure the vendor has not confirmed). No confirmed French offer.
A till is made of three things: sales software, hardware (screen, drawer, printer) and a means of payment. The sales software can be reproduced, the hardware can be bought, but the means of payment belongs to a licensed institution. In France, the NF525 certification requirement also applies to foreign software as soon as it records sales. Epos Now has no confirmed French offer: to take payments in France you need a vendor certified here. Custom work suits stock, product records and reports.
