Choco
Order-taking platform for food distributors, which also serves the restaurants that order from them: an AI agent that enters orders received by voice message, email, SMS, WhatsApp or handwritten note, a white-label online shop, sales and marketing tools, integration with more than 200 management systems. Site aimed at France (also Germany, Spain, the United States, the United Kingdom); 500 distributors in France and more than a million orders a month, vendor figures. Pricing is on a dedicated page, not recorded.
An order form to send to your suppliers can be coded in an evening. Choco's difficulty is being plugged into your suppliers' systems: without those connections, you have to convince each supplier to use your tool. If you have few suppliers and they accept email or WhatsApp, an order template is enough; otherwise the value of the network wins.
What you lose
- The connection to suppliers' management systems.
- Automatic entry of orders sent by voice, text or photo.
- Supplier catalogues kept up to date.
Existing alternatives to Choco
No free or open-source alternative currently meets our checks (active project under a free licence, free plan read on the vendor’s own site). Rather than invent one, the list stays empty.
